The Dallas Cowboys bye week comes at the perfect time due to almost everyone being injured. Let us look into the next three opponents for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys season has been a roller coaster so far through seven games. As you know the first three, the Cowboys looked like the greatest football team to ever take the field.
The following three games were just flat out humiliating, then the Cowboys found a way to get back on track last week versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
The next three games for the Cowboys will be very telling. It was this time last season the Cowboys knocked off five straight wins en route to win the NFC East.
The Cowboys face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 8. In Week 1, the Cowboys had their way with the Giants as the offense carved up the Giant’s defense putting up 35 points on their way to a dominating 35-17 win.
The Cowboys cannot take the Giants lightly. Any NFC East game is always a hard-fought game and on national TV, the Giants will be ready to play. We know what happened a couple of weeks ago in the Meadowlands.
After the Giants, the Cowboys will take host to a very solid Minnesota Vikings team. After starting 2-2, the Vikings have knocked off four straight wins and currently sit at 6-2. In the past, the Cowboys have dominated Kirk Cousins.
Hopefully, the Hot Boyz will be hot that Sunday Night because if they are to generate consistent pressure on Cousins then Dallas should be in good hands.
After the Vikes, the Cowboys face another NFC North opponent, this time the Detroit Lions. The Lions are a very explosive offense and their record does not indicate how good they actually are.
Sitting at 3-3-1 the Lions could very easily be 5-1-1 if it was not for a last-second kick vs. the Kansas City Chiefs or two bogus calls against the Green Bay Packers. Matthew Stafford is always dangerous and seems to have a good game versus his hometown team.
The Dallas Cowboys need to bring their A-game the rest of the season. The rest of the schedule includes the Patriots, Rams, Bears, Bills just to name a few. These next three games will be very telling about this Dallas team, and I am super eager to see.
